With over 28 years of experience in Animation and Media Production, currently working as a Faculty Member in the Animation Creation & Direction Department at Roopkala Kendro since 1999.

After graduating from the University of Calcutta, he completed a Diploma in Multimedia at CAD CAM Consultants, Kolkata (an Autodesk authorised training centre). Additionally, he received an advanced animation training certificate in Autodesk Maya from PAPRIKAS, Bangalore.

He has also completed a course in the 'Educational Audiovisual Media Programme', specialising as ‘Animation Creator/Project Manager', conducted by the Master Europeo in Gestione di Impressa Cinematographica e Audiovisiva, MAGICA (an European Union recognised institute) in Rome, Italy.

Throughout his career, he has worked with several educational institutes and production houses, contributing to multimedia campaigns, animation projects, and media production management. He has collaborated with renowned filmmakers as an Animator and CG specialist. Additionally, he has conducted workshops and worked as a paper setter, moderator and outside expert for university students and professionals, including training on 3D software for scientists at the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation).

He managed and coordinated an international student exchange programme in Milan, Italy, an official cooperation programme between ‘Libera Universita di Lingue e Comunicazione’ (IULM) and ‘Roopkala Kendro’.

Served as a ‘Member of the Jury Board’ of the International Festival of Animation Films (‘I Castelli Animati’), held in Rome, Italy.
